| Discussion | Intracranial germinomas typically arise in the pineal and neurohypophyseal regions. Approximately 5–10% occur in ectopic locations and tend to involve midline structures, particularly the basal ganglia, thalami, and diencephalon. Other reported sites include the corona radiata, temporal lobe, cerebellum, and medulla oblongata, with the corpus callosum being the least common location.
