 Wernicke’s encephalopathy

Wernecke encephalopathy
T2/FLAIR: symmetrically increased signal intensity in mammillary bodies, dorsomedial thalami, tectal plate, periaqueductal grey matter around the third ventricle, cerebral cortex.

T1 CE; contrast enhancement can be seen in the same regions, most commonly in mammillary bodies.
DWI/ADC; diffusion restriction can be seen in the same regions.
SWI; petechial hemorrhage may seen in mammillary bodies.
