Introduction Peak age: fifth decade Suspected to be craniopharyngioma before surgery Arising from the pituitary stalk and rastal to the normal pituitary gland Mostly suprasellar location 2. Clinical manifestation Asymptomatic, visual disturbance headache or amonorrhea 3. Radiologic Findings Suprasellar mass epicentered in the pituitary stalk. Tendency of posterior protrusion. CT Hypednse mass without definite calcification MR T2 iso signal intensity, T1 iso signal intensity with Homogeneous or Heterogeneous enhancement DDx. Craniopharyngioma, germinoma, hamartoma, meningioma, dermoid cyst, etc. |
