1. Introduction
Teflon: surgical material used in microvascular decompression surgery
Presumed to be an inert material
Induce giant-cell reaction when it contacts with dura and tentorium
Cause of recurrent trigeminal neuralgia

2. Teflon granuloma: 1.1-7.3% after MVD
Clinical suspicion: development of new facial pain after MVD
Radiologic findings:
Contrast enhancement on T1-weighted imaging: active granulomatous lesion
Blooming: Teflon itself, calcification or blood degradation product
