| Discussion | – Leukoaraiosis and multifocal old lacunar infarction in bilateral BG, thalamus – Multiple microbleeds dominantly in both deep nuclei – Suggestive of chronic hypertensive encephalopathy ( Binswanger’s disease) – Decreased FP-CIT uptake in bilateral posterior putamen – Suggestive of Vascular parkinsonism – Gait difficulty, lower body involvement, postural instability ,dementia and incontinence in elderly hypertensive individual with multiple ischemic insults in basal ganglia – No resting tremor – Extensive lesions of the periventricular white matter, the presence of lacunes (mainly in the basal ganglia), and dilatation of the lateral and third cerebral ventricles |
