Clinical information	53세 여자. Diplopia를 주소로 촬영한 MRA상 보이는 이상소견.
Discussion	[정답] Persistent trigeminal artery. Persistent embryonic carotid basilar anastomosis 중 가장 흔한 형태로 cavernous ICA 와 basilar artery 사이의 anastomosis가 있다. Carotid basilar anastomosis는 위에서 아래로 posterior communicating artery, trigeminal artery, otic artery, hypoglossal artery, proatlantal intersegmental artery 가 있으며 보통 posterior communicating artery를 제외하고 regression 하게 된다. 대부분 incidental finding으로 발견되지만, 드물게 trigeminal neuralgia나 pituitary dysfunction 동반하기도 한다..
